We reach out to all students eager for a learning experience that will go beyond the confines of the classroom and join a Miami Dade College sponsored study abroad program to Nicaragua.

The program pairs two classes--ENC 1102 and LIT 2480--offering students an opportunity to earn 6-college credits during Summer C (2015). We will spend three weeks doing the academic prep work in Miami at the start of the summer, travelling to Nicaragua for 10 days, and then returning to complete the remaining course work in Miami.

The cost of the 10-day trip is about $1,500. Students are encouraged to fund raise part of the trip cost. There will be a number of events to do this.
